Commercial Pest Control Services

Get Pests Exterminated from Your Southeast Wisconsin Business

Ehlers Pest Management provides commercial pest control in Milwaukee and across Southeastern Wisconsin for independently owned businesses, including offices, warehouses, shops, restaurants and schools. Every account starts with an inspection by a certified technician, who looks at your building, finds where pests are getting in and recommends service based on what’s actually there. Pricing comes from that inspection, so you won’t get a flat-rate quote over the phone.

We’re locally owned and veteran-owned, and we’ve worked with Southeastern Wisconsin businesses since 2010. When you call, you’ll reach our local office and talk with someone who knows pest control.

What kind of businesses does Ehlers Work With?

Most of our commercial customers are local businesses with one location or a handful of them.

How does commercial pest control work with Ehlers?

Inspection-First Pricing

A certified technician walks your building indoors and out. Most commercial inspections take about an hour. We look for where pests are getting in, what’s drawing them and how much activity there is.

Your Technician

The technician who inspects your building is the one who does the work, and they come prepared to start. You won’t wait on a separate sales visit.

Custom Plan

From there, we recommend what makes sense for your building and your operations. That could be monthly or quarterly service, a one-time treatment, pest proofing to seal entry points, or a combination. We won’t recommend something you don’t need.

Environmentally Responsible

We use Integrated Pest Management (IPM), which means targeted treatments applied where pests are active, with your employees and customers in mind.

Why Does Rodent Control Matter for Businesses?

Rodent control is one of the most common reasons businesses call us, and it’s year-round work. Mice and rats move toward warmth and food as the weather cools, and commercial buildings give them plenty of both, from loading doors and utility gaps to break rooms and stored goods.

Mice don’t leave on their own, and new ones move in if the entry points and attractants aren’t dealt with. That’s why most commercial rodent work is ongoing, usually with monthly visits to check bait stations and watch for new activity.

A small brown mouse with large ears and a long tail stands on a white background, facing slightly to the right—a common sight that underscores the importance of professional pest management.

What’s the difference between pest control and pest proofing?

Pest control treats the pests already inside your building. Pest proofing, also called exclusion, seals the gaps, cracks and openings pests use to get in. If the same problem keeps coming back, there’s usually an entry point that hasn’t been found yet.

We're Not the right fit For Everyone

Here are the types of businesses we aren't the best match for.

We’re a small, local company, and we’d rather tell you upfront if we’re not the right match.

Here’s the commercial work we don’t take on:

  • National chains that need one vendor and centralized billing across many locations
  • Businesses that won’t close when a treatment requires it, since some treatments need an empty space to be safe and effective
  • 24-hour businesses that need service overnight, since we’re not staffed for it
  • Large apartment complexes looking for routine maintenance across hundreds of units
  • Accounts that want the lowest bid and a quick pass through the building

Frequently Asked Questions

Do we need to close during treatment?

For general pest control, no. It’s applied so your business can keep running. Some specialty treatments, like cockroach work, need the space closed so the treatment is safe and has time to work. If yours does, we’ll tell you before anything is scheduled so you can plan around it.

It depends on your building. Many businesses have monthly service, especially for rodents or food service areas. Others do well with quarterly visits. We’ll recommend a schedule after the inspection.

Yes. We serve businesses across Southeastern Wisconsin, including Racine, Kenosha and Waukesha, along with parts of central Wisconsin. See our Service Areas.

Yes, as long as your locations are in our service area. If you need one vendor for locations in several states with centralized billing, a national company will usually be a better fit.

Call (414) 303-6926 or fill out the form on this page. We’ll schedule an inspection at a time that works around your operations.
